The Westerner & West Point Apartments

Description:
The project consisted of a redevelopment of the historic Westerner building built in 1961. The existing 55,024 sq.ft. four-story building underwent a renovation for offices, ground floor commercial, and 3,000 square feet of retail. A new 38,421 sq.ft. six-story addition was added (20 E. Broadway) to the east side of the existing building for 50 housing units and support facilities for low-income seniors and veterans. (Source: downtowntucson.org)
Scope of Work:
Provide and install seven stories of scaffolding, including several radius walls per our structural engineer’s design. We anchored into the old facility which was made of 3 layers of red brick using two-feet long tie-backs that were custom-made and clamped back into our scaffolding.
